I have decided I want to take my blog to the next level. I will be doing this by spending more time on the blog in general and doing things such as writing better posts, taking more time taking and editing photos and planning more.
I had actually written a long blog post, but it seams to have disappeared on me. It is a shame because I thought it was really good and will try to recreate it again.
So today I am going to talk about a blog post I came across while roaming blogland some time ago, 10 things I hate about your blog @ Hope Studios, after visiting Tales of a Trophy Wife. After a quick google I have found out a lot of similar posts. They were both really good posts and with a lot of good comments.
It basically talks about everything they hate about blogs, such as Word Verification, Auto play music and too few photos. I must admit the Word Verification is so annoying. I have a blog that I follow and sometimes it takes me up to 15 tries to publish a comment. It does really get on my nerve but I really enjoy the blog. So I am a bit torn on what to do,(You might know who you are), because I would really love to comment but I have actually started giving up.
Personally I think I am doing good on most of these points. One thing that really does annoy me a lot is English being my second language. I have lived most my life abroad, and moved home to Norway only 3 years ago. My English has become so much worse in that little time. Before I could easily switch between thinking in Norwegian and English but now I do most my thinking in English. For me it does get complicated to translate in my brain. I do always try my best. Some tutorials I have a lot of photos to compensate for not being able to explain what I am doing. So I hope this works well for everyone.
I would really appreciate it if you would give a comment, it can be one word or one page long, about what you think about my blog. Even though it is your first time here I would love a quick first impression. Sunday I am going to have a relaunch of my blog and can use all the feedback in the wold to make it better.

I really enjoy reading your blog and think you do a great job. You have lots of different topics about redoing your house to fun art projects. I like that there is always something new to read :) btw - I hate it when my blog eats one of my posts. I HATE having to rewrite an entire post twice!
ReplyDeleteThank you, I do try to vary a bit the things I write about! I love reading your blog too!
